  5. Game 05

    Odd One Out

  6. Game 06

    Listen & Find

Listen to a Spanish word, then choose its picture. Replay normally or slowly as often as you need. Pronunciation uses browser voices, so availability and quality depend on your device.

  7. Game 07

    Word Rescue

Complete the missing letters of a Spanish word using a letter bank. Meaning, first-letter and audio clues help when you get stuck. Choose this to practise spelling after meeting a word.

Which Spanish game should I try first?

Start with Cards to meet the words, then Picture Quiz or Match Up to recognise them. Choose Listen & Find for listening, Word Rescue for spelling or Sentence Builder for model sentences. Use a short round and return to words you found difficult.

Can I practise Spanish by topic?

Yes. The shared setup lets you choose topics such as greetings, numbers, food, animals and travel. Available cards depend on the game, challenge and source. Odd One Out has a smaller classified word bank; an unavailable combination is explained before you start.

Do I need an account, and is Vane free?

Public lessons are free to read without an account. Games offer limited free guest plays, then require Google sign-in to continue. Interactive Study requires sign-in and saves your place. Opening a game does not use a play; starting a new round does. A saved round may resume when you return.

Can Spanish speakers learn English here too?

Yes. Vane supports Spanish speakers learning English as well as English speakers learning Spanish. Each learning direction has its own words, explanations and pronunciation language. The app also lets you choose your menu language independently.

Are the games a complete Spanish course?

Games practise specific skills and vocabulary; game points are not a proficiency assessment. Combine them with Vane’s guided lessons, grammar and conversations. A1–C1 labels organize Study content and do not award a language certification.
