How to introduce yourself in Spanish
Introduce yourself and meet someone new.
I can say my name and ask someone theirs.
Two ways to say your name
Me llamo Sam means "I call myself Sam." Soy Sam means "I'm Sam." Both are completely normal.
Notice there's no word for "I". The verb already tells you who's talking.
- Me llamo Ana.
- My name is Ana.
- Soy Ana.
- I'm Ana.
