Vane provides English–Spanish lessons, reference material, practice games and study tools. These draft terms describe the intended conditions of use. The legal operator, jurisdiction, children’s account arrangements and payment policy still require owner review before final publication.
Accounts and families
Use accurate account information and protect your Google account and device. Do not share access to another person’s account or pretend to be someone else. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
Vane welcomes children and adults. Parents or guardians should supervise children. Child accounts and personal-data collection need an appropriate parental-consent process before launch; Google sign-in alone does not supply that process.
Learning content and results
Practice results and progress indicators describe activity within Vane. They are not certificates, exam results or guarantees of fluency. Content may contain mistakes; use Contact Us to report them.
Ask Vane retrieves authored content locally. Separate optional AI card or hint features may use an external provider and produce inaccurate material. Check examples before relying on them.
Respectful, permitted use
Use the service lawfully. Do not harass others, submit unlawful material, impersonate someone, attempt unauthorized access, bypass access limits or disrupt the service. Do not upload passwords, sensitive records or another person’s private information.
You may use the lessons for your personal learning. Vane and the respective rights holders retain rights in the software, artwork and teaching material. Do not redistribute or sell material without permission except where applicable law permits it.
Your words and feedback
You retain your rights in words, messages or images you submit. Provide only material you have permission to use. Vane needs to store, process and display that material to provide the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. This does not transfer ownership of your submissions.
Availability and payments
The current app has no checkout or subscription-purchase flow. Guest limits and sign-in requirements are shown in the app. If paid features are introduced, their price, renewal, cancellation and refund terms must be shown before any purchase.
Features can change or be unavailable during maintenance or failures. Keep your own copy of important personal material; local or unsynchronized data can be lost if browser storage is cleared.
Your rights and resolving problems
Contact us about content errors, accessibility barriers, account concerns or these terms. We will need a way to identify the issue and respond. Never send passwords.
Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights or protections that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. No governing-law clause, mandatory arbitration provision or blanket waiver has been selected in this draft.
Changes to these terms
The updated date identifies the version. Material changes should be communicated clearly before they apply, with a new agreement where required. The Privacy Policy explains information handling and available privacy choices.
